POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN PENETANGUISHENE (MIDLAND, ON.)- Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Southern Georgian Bay Detachment have been busy investigating numerous unlocked vehicle entries on the west side of Penetanguishene. As a result of these investigations, a large number of items have been recovered by Police, but the owners are unknown. The property description ranges from various CD’s , watches, camera’s, small hand tools, to coin and Canadian Tire money. If you have been a victim of a property theft from your unlocked vehicle since the 28th of October 2009 in the Penetanguishene area, please contact the OPP office located in Penetanguishene at 705-549-8922 or the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment at 705-526-3761 during business hours to assist in identifying these recovered items.
